and the final week of pride month.
Happy Pride everyone! We’re in the final week of Pride month and this one is an even more special Pride than any other year. This month celebrates the Stonewall 50 – WorldPride NYC 2019. Which is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. It occurred on June 28, 1969 in New York City’s Greenwich Village. This event was considered the start of the modern Gay Rights Movement, also known as the fight for the LGBTQIA+ rights. WorldPride is a monumental event that welcomes millions of LGBTQIA+ guests and supporters, both domestic and international to celebrate their ongoing quest for freedom and human rights. With these two huge events coinciding together, it’s sure to be a once in a lifetime memorable Pride celebration all month long.
There’s many ways to show your Pride. Here’s a few ways Glazer recommends…
Some small subtle ways like wearing a 3” Round Button Pin, a Soft Enamel Pin, or slapping on a Full Color Removable Window Cling.
If you want to show off a little bit more you can wear your Shockwave Drawstring Sportspack, carry a Porter Messenger Bag, or drink your favorite drink with a Rainbow Kan-Tastic koozie.
But if you really want to show your Pride loud-n-proud then you can sing it in the rain with a 46” Arc Rainbow Umbrella, wave your custom Rainbow Flag, or keep it cool with your Rainbow Folding Fan.
NYC Pride | Heritage of Pride, Inc. who are running Stonewall 50 – WorldPride NYC 2019 will be rocking some custom Cosplay & Pride Sailor Caps.
